A bumper scrape or impact can affect the outer cover as well as components behind it. Our West Los Angeles team reviews the damage before discussing whether repair, replacement or additional inspection is appropriate.
Clear assessments. A considered repair plan. Care in the finished result.

Look beyond the visible bumper cover
Cracks, loose sections, damaged mounting points and uneven gaps can indicate more than a cosmetic issue. Components behind the cover may not be visible in photographs. Tell the shop if you notice warning lights or changes after an impact so these concerns can be included in the assessment.

Repair or replacement depends on the damage
Material condition, the location of a crack and the extent of the impact help determine the repair plan. Some bumper damage can be repaired; other damage may require replacement. A preliminary photo estimate is a starting point rather than a final decision about parts or repairability.

Preparing your photo estimate
Photograph the whole front or rear of the vehicle, both corners and the damaged area up close. Include any loose trim, gaps or affected lights. If the vehicle may be unsafe to drive, call before bringing it to the shop.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Will a bumper photo estimate include hidden damage?
Photos show visible damage only. An in-person inspection may reveal additional damage behind the bumper cover and change the required parts or repair scope.
